Beltane Artisan Market: A Seasonal Gathering
As the turning year moves toward warmth and growth, we mark Beltane with an artisan market rooted in craft, creativity, and seasonal celebration.
Set among forest and open sky, this market brings together local makers, musicians, and neighbours for a day of shared experience.
Wander the pathways and explore a curated selection of handcrafted goods, herbal preparations, hand-poured candles, leatherwork, pottery, jewellery, textiles, and more.
Each vendor carries their own practice and skill, offering work shaped by hand and attention. The market is an opportunity to support small-scale artisans and connect directly with the people who make what they sell.
Hands-On Craft
A dedicated craft area will be open throughout the day. Participants are invited to create simple, nature-inspired crowns in honour of the season.
Guides will be present to offer instruction and materials. Whether you are learning for the first time or simply enjoying the act of making, the space is open and welcoming.
Story, Song & FolkQuest
Throughout the day, musicians and storytellers will offer seasonal songs and tales. These are informal, participatory moments, woven into the rhythm of the market.
We will also be offering a Beltane FolkQuest, a seasonal wandering game that encourages curiosity, connection, and closer noticing as you move through the market.
We hope you'll join us for craft, conversation and the shared marking of the season.
