About The Experience

Before the body moves, it listens.

This one-day immersion introduces the foundations of Mystery in Motion, a somatic practice where sound, breath, and slow restorative movement invite the body back into its natural fluid intelligence. The day begins with conversation and context, learning how sound travels through the tissues, before gradually unfolding into subtle movement and stillness.

Open to both newcomers and those already familiar with the work, the workshop offers space to slow down, listen inwardly, and explore the subtle conversation between sound, breath, and tissue.

Participants will first learn the foundations of somatic sounding, simple vocal tones and breaths that gently vibrate through the body and awaken sensation from within. Through guided exploration and shared inquiry, we begin to sense how sound can soften the body’s holding patterns and invite a deeper relationship with breath and inner listening.

This is not choreography. It’s not fitness.

It is a conversation between sound and tissue, between breath and the fluid architecture of the body.

As the day unfolds, movement begins to emerge naturally through gentle somatic exploration inspired by Continuum Movement and subtle body practices. We explore simple ways of undulating, spiraling, softening, and resting, allowing the body to rediscover its own rhythm.

You move when you feel moved.
You rest when stillness calls.
Sound becomes the thread that guides you inward.

This immersion is designed as both an entry point and a refinement — a place to learn the foundations of the practice or to deepen an existing relationship with it.

Participants in this workshop are also invited to continue the exploration through the monthly Mystery in Motion Evening Dives, a spacious container where the practice can deepen over time. Those who have already experienced this work are welcome to join the dives directly.

Whether this is your first experience or a return to a familiar language of the body, this day offers an opportunity to slow down, soften, and rediscover the fluid intelligence moving within you.
