About The Experience
Imagine a room where the world fades away. The air hums with the energy of pens gliding, keyboards tapping, and hearts opening.
The Steeping Pot invites you to step into this sanctuary of creativity and community.
A place where we write, connect, and share the alchemy of stories that only you can bring to life.
Your seat at the table is waiting
- We will begin with an invitation... for all to shed the weight of the outside world and step fully into the moment.
- Then a gentle facilitation consisting of exercises and prompts...a way to slip into the rhythm of the group and release judgement and wake up our creative genius.
- Then we write... there’s a magic in the silent communion of people writing together. Each person absorbed in their own world, yet buoyed by the shared energy of the space.
- Then for those who wish we share... a reciprocal act as we give of ourselves and in return are met with listening, encouragement, and perhaps even inspiration sparked in another’s heart.
Your writing may take shape as the spark of website or social media content, it may sing as poetry, dance as lyrics, whisper as journaling, unfurl as stories, flow like letters, shape worlds through fiction or cast light on truth in non fiction.
May you leave feeling nourished, not only inspired but deeply seen and connected.
No writing experience required.
Simply come as you are, perhaps bring your favourite writing tool.
You will leave inspired, feeling the touch of magic at your fingertips.
About the Facilitator
Jennifer Laale is a facilitator, writer, and lifelong explorer of practice, play, and presence.
For more than 25 years, she has worked as an improv-based team-building facilitator, helping individuals, organizations and teams cultivate trust, stay present, and navigate change with greater ease and authenticity.
Known for making deep work feel welcoming, human, and alive, Jennifer serves as a Practice Champion—guiding people to reimagine practice not as something rigid or demanding, but as a supportive bridge between who they are, who they are becoming, and what matters most. Her workshops weave together reflective writing, creativity, gentle embodiment, and improvisation to quiet self-judgment and reconnect participants with their inner wisdom.
Through all her work, including her Letters From The Divine articles in In Cycle magazine, Jennifer invites people to soften, listen, and trust that the words and guidance they seek are already within them.
