About The Experience
The Wheel of the Year is not a calendar. It is a living cycle.
Within MiddleWorld Mysteries, seasonal practice begins with learning to notice, mark, and participate in the recurring movements of land, season, ritual, and community. Over time, those familiar festivals and practices begin to reveal something deeper: an architecture that moves through land, body, psyche, and collective rhythm.
Engaging the Wheel of the Year is a one-day Blood, Breath & Bone workshop that builds upon the seasonal practices taught within MiddleWorld Mysteries.
It is intended for participants who already have a relationship with the Wheel and are ready to explore what it means to move beyond marking its festivals toward consciously inhabiting the season.
Together we will explore:
- the structure and energetic arc of the Wheel of the Year
- the distinction between solar festivals and cross-quarter thresholds
- how land-based cycles shape ritual timing and intention
- preparing for seasonal ritual beyond the day itself
- working with the Wheel as personal healing cycle and collective container
- moving from marking the day to inhabiting the season
- We will examine how the Wheel lives not only in the land but in the body—and how repeated engagement allows understanding to become lived practice.
This is not an introduction to the festivals.
It is a deepening of established practice: refining how we prepare, how we hold seasonal space, and how we integrate the teachings each season brings.
Blood, Breath & Bone workshops are part of the continuing practice of MiddleWorld Mysteries, offering opportunities for experienced participants to bring established teachings more fully into embodiment.
The Wheel does not rush. It moves whether we are paying attention or not.
This day invites us to pay attention—and to step more consciously into its movement.
Prerequisite: Previous MiddleWorld Mysteries study and practice is required for this workshop.
An audio recording will be available for eligible participants who live at a distance or are unable to attend the day in person.
