A New Hearth
Tucked within the folds of Ninth Wave Arts programming is our MiddleWorld Mysteries - Druid Wisdom offering.
This offering is more than a program. It’s a growing community remembering itself as part of cycle and the greater population of seen and unseen beings. We recently created a new bonfire hearth for the community to gather around.
It was a scene!
We checked in with the beings of our outdoor circles. Circles where we greet fire, moon, stone and sun. We gave offerings to chipmunks and raccoons. We dressed our stone cairns with flowers. We gathered together and cleared, dug, stacked stones and sand. We were blessed by rain, kissed by wind, and serenaded by mosquitoes. The primary group working on this endeavour was our Fellowship of the Hearth first cycle crew. The helping hands of others joined in. Songs and stories were part of the work.
